December 8th.
a well deserved break after three consecutive exams. other than the surprise of having to go for an emissions test. got to see the love of my life. COOPER<3. and christina of course. Met up with matthew and joseph, went to a breakfast place called giggling tomatoes, pretty cheap and tasty. played monopoly deal. i am beginning to own at that game. no big deal. Dinner with the godparents and the parentals at Wasabi. HUGE disappointment. not a fan of that place.
Christina: BOYS arent supposed to make GIRLS WAIT!
December 9th.
birthday lunch at earls with becca quach. our favourite chicken and brie sandwich <3. MMMMMMmmmmm. love earls. shopping at square one, great talks. bought a couple of sweaters and a jacket that i am in love with. bible study night at juniors. LOVE my girls. love the juniors. God has definitely put us counsellors together for a reason. our personalities and our dynamic seem to compliment one another so well. not only are we able to help lead a fellowship, but we fellowship together as well. love these kids.
Sandra: ENOCH, you hit me all the time
enoch: i never hit you. boys (asking the juniors) do i hit girls?
boys: YES! (simultaneously)
enoch: whatever! sandra, you need the discipline!
December 10th
a whole day of first aid with the junior counsellors and others. would have been rather dry, but the company made it better. i was definitely the distraction of the class, but then again what else is new. tried the new burrito place with enoch. SO GOOD. definitely going to go there again. oh yeah passed first aid, but joe and enoch got perfect, so if a child goes down, they have dibs, christina and i will go call 911. boston pizza and walmart with katie afterwards. watched the worst christmas movie of life.
instructor: what does the m in SAMPLE stand for?
christina: SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS.
instructor: ummm. no.
katie: i couldnt sit in my room, cause i thought the spider would get me, and i couldnt sit out there because the other spider was there, so i stood.
katie: AHHHHHHHHHHHH ITS NOT DEAD YET!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
five minutes later
katie: well i think that went well. i was very calm and collected.
sandra: BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
December 11th
church. went to enochs early with christina to help cook for juniors meeting. didnt really do much, although we did attempt to walk hunter. which took the two of us. that is ONE STRONG DOG. man. juniors meeting was great, but it was the conversations after that i was truly moved by. i love when the girls ask questions about their faith, and really want to know more. i love when they share and talk about how their relationship with God is growing. the juniors left at 9. yet enoch, christina, joe and myself managed to talk until 2 in the morning, about science and the bible, parenting, kids, animals, murder. LOL. you name it we probably talked about it.
Christina: see if i were planning to kill someone, like joe, i would make it interesting:
joe: AHHHHH now shes trying to KILL ME!.
so many, but i forget HA.
December 12th.
hang out with helaine kee. yes i managed to procrastinate studying once again. went for lunch. and raided multiple value villages and discount stores. bought a book and TABOO! for four dollars. WIN!.
how we decided on going to lunch:
helaine: okay sandra keep driving, when its heads turn left, and if its tails then we turn right. we can only turn on big roads, and after fifteen minutes we have to stop at the first place that we see!.
legit that is what we did. we ended up at this sylvias bbq place. pretty decent i must say. definitely going to use this type of decision making from now on.
